WOW!!!
Tonight was set to be an adventure.  It started with a trip to a track I have never been to before.  We
made our way to Limaland Motorsports Park and found ourselves with really good seats in the pits and a
very close parking spot.  That was important later when it got cold and I needed my jacket.  The facility
itself is great and the people are extremely friendly.  This night was destined to be a good one as it was
to honor one of the greats whose racing career ended far too early with a bad wreck that took the use of
his legs.  A great ambassador for the sport, Brad Doty is loved by everyone who loves sprint car racing.
We started the night with our usual trip around the pits to see who was there.  We got most of the cars
on the first go-around, but more were filing in as we walked around.
We then wandered around to the grandstand side to get pictures of the autograph session and the
pond.  Autographs were being signed by Brad Doty, Jac Haudenschild, Joey Saldana, Steve Kinser, and
Craig Dollansky.  I managed to get a shirt and get it signed by everyone for my mom since she was stuck
at work.
We made our way back to the pits to capture the rest of the cars that had made their way in.
Tonight's format was slightly different than last night in that hot laps were followed by qualifying, heat
races, a C main, a dash, a B main, and the feature.  Hot laps went off without a hitch.
