There were two photos I wanted to bring attention to. On the left, this is what greeted us when we walked
in Mark's house. The water got 6 inches from his ceiling. It took one of his kitchen chairs and floated it
into the living room where it got stuck on the ceiling fan. When the water went down, the chair remained.
On the right, Kerri and Mark had placed a small plant in a little plastic cup filled with water on the kitchen
table prior to the flood in an attempt to get it to root. Although the flood waters ripped the refrigerator
out of the wall and banged it around the kitchen (seen behind the table), the table apparently floated up
to the ceiling, completely level, and set back down nicely as the waters receded. The water in the cup
was still clear and the plant was thriving. Below you will see pictures from all over the area, Kerri's
neighborhood, Kerri's house, and Mark's house.
